WTF they have Jeff Franceuer in the booth with Bob Costas? He's one of the Braves homer announcers. He might try to play it straight but I'm sure he's secretly cheering for the Yankees.
What was Escobar thinking? You have to make sure to get an out there.
Escobar and the shift on the two previous plays have put the Mets in a tight situation. They should have been out of the inning with no runs.

OK, Dom is gone, but why is JD still around? There is no difference between Dom and JD as a DH.
We can't afford to shut down offensively here. McNeil looks like a zero right now. Nothing but lazy fly balls. Can't wait to replace JD with somebody.
McNeil is back to uppercut swings and trying to pull every pitch. The offense will have trouble sustaining anything as long as McNeil struggles and JD and any current catcher take ABs.
Bob Costas just rambling on to Franceuer who surely has no idea about anyone he's speaking of.
Please get help for the bullpen. The current cast makes me nervous every time any of them pitch. Nothing is ever easy.
This 2nd inning for Ottavino shows that there is nobody else in the pen that they trust. Just trying to buy some more time until they can add some more relievers.
When will Buck learn Ottavino can get you the first two outs and nothing else. It should have never come down to bring in Diaz after Ottavino walked a batter.
99% of relievers ain't sh*t. My brother, a die-hard Yankees fan, warned me Ottaviano would never show up in big spots. This is why he's bouncing around from team to team.
I'll admit I have little faith in Ottavino, Lugo, and to a lesser degree Drew Smith.
Alright McNeil that's what you need to get back to. Spraying line drives.

Psst. I cheated to counter your optimism. Cheating is not supposed to work. But I was kind of a little bit right. WTF with that throw to second? I still love Diaz. A win is a win.
