How can you say it's colder when everyday is going to be above average??
Or that it's not February 20th anymore. 😉He just won't admit his petulant post about not hitting 60 was wrong
My go to is a Fuente Double Chateau natural wrap but as the fall takes over the Maduro version is more my style but not in front of people as it's a strong aroma unpleasant to many. However, in the backyard, a good Oktoberfest brew, cigar and a taste of great bourbon is my heavenly afternoon.Specific brand or do you vary it up?
@RUPete you are 1000% right. I do have excuses but not strong ones 🤣You're slippin' White Bus! It's time! 😂
I posted last week that the NWS thought we might hit 70F this Weds/Thurs and then a couple of days ago I posted that the NWS had changed the forecast as a backdoor cold front was likely to keep temps much cooler than originally projected for Weds-Fri, which now have highs forecast to be in the 50s vs. 60s to near 70F. That's colder than originally forecast for that period. Not sure what you don't get about it. A cold front doesn't mean it gets "cold" just colder than expected or vs. what it was before the cold front - we have cold fronts in the summer that drop temps from the 90s into the 80s, which nobody would say is "cold."How can you say it's colder when everyday is going to be above average??

Pretty sure petulant is one of the first words that comes to mind when most posters think of you. Let's recap. On Thursday, I posted the NWS note that it would likely be warm mid-week this week with temps possibly hitting 70F, then on Saturday I posted that the NWS had updated their forecast and now predicted a backdoor cold front with temps in the 50s for mid-week and I also noted that forecast temps through Friday looked like they might not get above 60F; that part was clearly wrong as the NWS was well off on today and tomorrow. I have zero idea what was being said on AmericanWx, which I generally ignore when there's no snow threat. And I also never said it was going to snow on 3/9 (I just said it was a low, non-zero probability, which was correct at the time) - do better.Who is petulant..hypocrite
You were the blowhard who off of 1 tweet on americanwx had to rush over here and say it might not 60 here
Own that..there was no reason for it
And nws wasn't wrong..they had low to mid 60s for Monday and Tuesday for a week now..2 days in 50s big deal..then warming again
I thought we were getting snow on March 9...bahaha
Take it up with the NWS and meteorologists, in general, as it's their language, not mine. Although if the current administration has its way the NWS/NOAA will be gutted (which has already started), so you may have to take it with someone else. But it's not cold!
C'mon. You didn't have to post it was going to get cold when actually it's above average!! Stop making excuses.Take it up with the NWS and meteorologists, in general, as it's their language, not mine. you somehow needed to proclaim it wasnt going to get to 60. no need for that...especially when Mon/Tues forecast had not changedPretty sure petulant is one of the first words that comes to mind when most posters think of you. I thought you were trolling, but now I'm not sure you actually understand. Temps were forecast to be in the 60s to near 70F for Weds-Fri, but then the forecast changed due to an under-modeled backdoor cold front for Weds-Fri, such that the forecast high temps were lowered down to the 50s. The 50s aren't "cold" but they're certainly a lot colder than 60s to near 70F. And whether you think it's dumb or not, "cold" fronts simply mean that the temps after the front passes through will usually be colder than the temps before they pass through.C'mon. You didn't have to post it was going to get cold when actually it's above average!! Stop making excuses.
Frisbee golf and cycling for me are going to be awesome.
I don't care about what it might have been. It's a long time before we will be under average. Correct??? It's a stupid point you're bringing up! I understand!! You don't. Your posting nonsense that's not coming true! Stop blaming the NWS for crap because you are reposting their crap.I thought you were trolling, but now I'm not sure you actually understand. Today was a shorts day for my round of disc golf out near Clinton (Tecumseh); tomorrow will be too...
Your reading comprehension is now pegged at zero. I'll let the entire meteorological community know that you don't believe that fronts that come through and lower the temperature should be allowed to be called "cold" fronts, if the temperature after the front comes through isn't "cold" although you'll have to let us know what temp you consider "cold" so that when they come up with a new name for this phenomenon, it'll meet with your approval. And the main point of what I posted - that the backdoor cold front will keep temps on Weds-Fri much cooler than expected - is still the forecast, so it's now very likely to verify as it's so close in time.I don't care about what it might have been. NJ was balmy today with temps in the 60s everywhere except the immediate coasts near the cold ocean, although I didn't see any 70s posted in NJ, at least on this map. Tomorrow will likely make it into the low 70s in some spots.Atlanta cold AF
Rainy too
NJ warmer i presume?
It might have to be. At this point the thread title is meaningless, since meteorological winter is over and any snow from here on out is looking pretty unlikely - and if a threat does materialize, I'll make a thread. And with all the snark, I might just stop caring about what other people think and post weather threads the way I want them to be posted, i.e., one general winter weather/pattern/banter thread and individual event threads as needed, which is kind of how it is on TOS and it works well there. Or Tango or RUhasarrivedsohecantellusabouteveryoldbaseballplayerwhodies can start threads weeks in advance and I'll just post in them. I'm less interested in RU sports than I used to be and I'm less interested in this board than I used to be, so whatever. This needs to be the permanent weather thread from here on.
With no title changes.
Nobody is keeping you here. :)I'm less interested in RU sports than I used to be and I'm less interested in this board than I used to be, so whatever.

It's done. 🤝Which is what I asked and what you wanted all along.
You can do that right now with just a couple of keystrokes.

No, you've never liked the idea of a general winter/pattern thread.Which is what I asked and what you wanted all along.

It used to be - it has much better forum technology now and is quite active with good threads and much less trolling than here.TOS is awful
I’ve changed.No, you've never liked the idea of a general winter/pattern thread.
