Gives him a lil more time to heal up... Eireman is really funky... Lots of leg scrambles... They'll meet at NCAAs

He had knee surgery less than 2 weeks ago
That’s a great way to load the bracket with lesser wrestlers that attend schools in weak conferencesUnpopular opinion but no under .500 wrestler should go NQ. There should be a rule where that gets allocated to another weight or to another conference to a kid that has a winning record. Maybe even a d2 champ.
Yeah but in another conference he's an over .500 wrestlerUnpopular opinion but no under .500 wrestler should go NQ. There should be a rule where that gets allocated to another weight or to another conference to a kid that has a winning record. Maybe even a d2 champ.
Hella impressive he made the semi-finals two weeks out of getting the procedure. Kid is built different. He had knee surgery less than 2 weeks ago
Some of these refs are god awfulHow is that two for Penola? Position didn't change and the ref suddenly awarded two.
Did not see it … but if true … it proves you need to be at an obscene level like Suriano and Ashnault to win at RUHow is that two for Penola? Position didn't change and the ref suddenly awarded two.
Bulsak loses on a sh*t call from the ref. I still don't get it nothing changed from when they started in the position till when Bulsak got out of it.
And that ref will never change his call. He’s a cocky bast***Some of these refs are god awful
11 days ago. FineSo Rivera had knee surgery 2 weeks ago? How is he wrestling 2 weeks later?
Where do you guys think Rivera will be seeded at nationals?? Since he MFF to Micic I’d guess he would get a seed lower then Micic now?So Rivera will heal up and MFF to 6th place. It sucks but Rivera has enough big 10 titles, he only needs one more trophy to add to his collection.
Yes. You asked why and someone else asked so I answered. Of course he's gonna wrestle. Smart to MFF out and heal up more before NCAA's.So? Wrestlers wrestle
You are a fool, and your hot takes are garbage. You should be ashamed of yourself with how you talk about these student athletes. Don’t call yourself a fan and say you “care” about these kids, and then speak like this. Winning matches 40 years ago doesn’t make you some prophet or mind reader into these kid’s psych. It’s shocking that someone who has competed at this level would show such a lack of respect to today’s athletes. No one on here should give you the time of day on any of your posts or comments.I'm calling it right now. We won't be seeing Poz next year. He doesn't want it anymore. I have seen this sad seen too often.
Don’t waste you breath on this idiots opinions ...now that he has come out of the closet after hiding under three different aliases , challenging kids efforts to the point that three different parents wanted to kick his ass he now believes his supposed total domination of the sport gives him the right to keep doing it and some guys here actually believe his bottom of the bottle analysis is ok and now actually ask him for it ..he actually is coherent at times but doesn’t take much for him to go off his meds get back to ripping kids and being a soothsayer so to speak ...he actually thinks and despises Nick Suriano to the point he actually bet against him winning this year ...just because the kid took off to somewhere else to follow his dream ...he talks about loyalty yet this program ain’t good enough ever in his eyes because when he supposed was an AA that make him an authority ...he could not even compete at this level in the Big 10 but runs his mouth as if he could .ya don’t have to be a college wrestler to see the guy has no respect for kids today or the coaches ...You are a fool, and your hot takes are garbage. I posted on 2/12 that he looks to have a neck or back injury and stand by it:What I can offer on Poz situation is that he’s dealing with a little something. Obviously those words are open for a huge amount of interpretation, but the words themselves are void of speculation.
With respect to the idea that the fire has gone out, I doubt that, though I can’t rule it out. Yes, it happens all the time. The sport puts massive demands on its competitors, physically and even more so emotionally, but Poz is one of the least likely I would have predicted that for just by the way he’s wired. He has such a steady temperament which is ideally suited for the distance run. That said, I have no visibility into his current situation other that what I shared, and you never really know what’s going on inside a person, so who knows. But whatever his situation is on the mat, he’s way ahead of the curve in life. He’s a really good kid with a lot of successes still ahead of him.
IDK, he looks very stiff and slow and doesn't react, almost like he's got a back or neck injury, as he doesn't shoot much and can't scramble now. It's very odd. 🤷🏻♂️
Since this is another secret and none of us know what's up, my take is that it's mental/emotional. I will continue to be very hopeful that he will be back strong next year. Until we know otherwise, I think it's best to give him the benefit of the doubt. Suggestions of replacing him with Soldano are premature and probably not in Soldano's best interest to go 184. I see Soldano at 197 and owning it comfortably. Hopefully, he'll last beyond his freshman and sophomore years.I posted on 2/12 that he looks to have a neck or back injury and stand by it:

You have referred to Leonard multiple times as “Mother Leonard” and me as a social Justice warrior. You name call as much as anyone but do it passive aggressively. If Poz is actually suffering from a back or neck injury, how does that make sense for him to have kept wrestling, which could only aggravate it? Rivera defaults to allow for healing but not Poz?
On another note, the people here that can't allow others to express opinions without resorting to name-calling, insults, etc, really need to grow up. Too late to get smart, but maybe a good time to keep quiet. When someone resorts to insults, it's typically an indication of a lack of intellect and the ability to articulate a rational argument. See the above posts for examples IfYouWannaSeeWho.
But there's so much negative. A Penn State troll - you say. Totally nonsensical to anyone who has read my posts but that is your way of discrediting without having to make a rational argument. . Oh shut up. You another Harley account, trying to hear yourself talk? It's just ironic that Harley posted right after. I speak the truth, called it on every single situation that has happened when doubters chastised me ( eg. Cooperman leaving, Camp coming and leaving, Suriano coming in and leaving, and it all came true). I dedicated my life to this program in college and brought one of the best careers and finishes up and till Tom Tanis, and now Ash and present wrestlers. You don't know anything about the sport, other than coming on here trying to gain some moral high ground. Do you think I'm wrong about Poz? Go back 4 pages and you'll see my sentiments shared. I am a huge fan of the kid, but if you are going to continuously falter, without saying "hey, I am seriously injured, but I'm competing anyway", then we as donors and fans of the program will support him. " advocate of firing coach Goodall" Never said that. Show me. It's so easy to smoke you guys out. I can make claims and point to your posts. You make claims based on nothing. Remember our predictions a while back when mine were 100% correct and yours were wrong? You had lots to say then too.You talking about intelligence is rich. Listen dirtbag, when I come out to the East Coast, in April, I will come to campus, and you can meet with me and tell me to my face, how I brought nothing to this team. Let's see if the mouth matches the ability. People know who I am because I have spoken to 5 members already in my inbox. That's why the tone has changed amongst members because I snap chatted 3 of them to prove who am. Let's see who you are, you mouthy coward.Don’t waste you breath on this idiots opinions ...now that he has come out of the closet after hiding under three different aliases , challenging kids efforts to the point that three different parents wanted to kick his ass he now believes his supposed total domination of the sport gives him the right to keep doing it and some guys here actually believe his bottom of the bottle analysis is ok and now actually ask him for it ..he actually is coherent at times but doesn’t take much for him to go off his meds get back to ripping kids and being a soothsayer so to speak ...he actually thinks and despises Nick Suriano to the point he actually bet against him winning this year ...just because the kid took off to somewhere else to follow his dream ...he talks about loyalty yet this program ain’t good enough ever in his eyes because when he supposed was an AA that make him an authority ...he could not even compete at this level in the Big 10 but runs his mouth as if he could .ya don’t have to be a college wrestler to see the guy has no respect for kids today or the coaches ...
I don't see Soldano as a 197er, at least not for the near future. He wrestled at 190 this year because of the new weight classes but he was locked in 182 for national tournaments late into the fall this year so I would say 184/174 is where he will be.Since this is another secret and none of us know what's up, my take is that it's mental/emotional.
