Savon Huggins' college career ended today in FCS playoffs

Is it very unusual for a 5 star recruit to have been so unfairly overrated so as to make it impossible for him to ever look back on his college career and consider it a success on the field? It put him his family and his school in a very awkward position I think.

Above all else, Savon showed he was a loyal son, represented Rutgers well and always will. I'm disappointed he didn't get any carries that I saw today, if only as a nod to the ending of his college career. Would have been nice to see his number called. In any event, he's a very bright and motivated person, and I know the future for him is going to be outstanding. Thank you Savon, good luck, and we are all part of your network going forward.

I wish Savon the best. Great Kid, good family. Glad he got the opportunities. Maybe it never worked out in Football, but he now got his education and will be successful at whatever he does.

Wising Savon the success in life we felt he'd have on the FB field.
He proved at every opportunity he had what it takes to be a special person that
didn't allow allow the disappointments in his FB career bring him down .
Hopefully now success will b e what awaits him after his school years are complete.

Seems like a young man who carries himself well. A tribute to him and his parents. That should serve him well in whatever he decides to do going forward.
