Awesome job by Rutgers. Not the football team of course (thank you Mr. Flood), but Ryan notes things appear to be headed back in the right direction under Ash.

But overall a good job. EIGHT teams in the top 10 percent of APR. And yes, I know APR is not the be-all and end-all, but it shows we take progress toward a degree seriously, at least.

Worth noting that eight is only one less than Princeton.

Wonder why the women teams are so much more successful than men's

It seems like when a coach gets fired it is a tough call because he is either a good game coach or a good administrator, but not both which makes it tough to fire him. In Kyle Flood's case he was neither and it is showing more now than ever. Although last year was a disaster on the field I am glad to hear the APR is coming back and at least that shows that Chris Ash can be a good administrator. Does anyone know if he has an APR bonus in his contract?

Look deeply into your hearts. Which would you rather have,Teams in the Top 10 % APR or teams in the Top 10 % W/L? No combinations allowed.

What I don't understand is at the Loyal Sons and Daughters dinner, Ash said that the football team finished with it's highest team GPA since I think 2009 ... we have made the top APR list in football since then I feel like, so are football athletes across the nation just getting "smarter"? .. I hope that our APR was still high enough that if we finish with 5 wins it would be good enough to get us into a bowl game.
