Miss St. is grown men playing against HS kids. They are fast and strong on defense. They were the better team pretty convincingly. This Rutgers team just is the definition of NIT. Will have a couple of surprise games followed by more regular WTF games.

He is a freshman and needs to adjust to college. We replaced 4 out of 5 starters from last year. I know it sucks to watch the team struggle, but we really got hit hard. We also lost Cam and Paul really late.
I want to see the team do better, but it is really hard to do with Williams sitting and an influx of a lot of young talent. McConnell is one of the biggest reasons why Cliff is struggling. He did a lot of little things defensively in the post that we are just not seeing this year. Cliff needs some help, as posted above.

Perhaps. However, he also fouled Bell twice between his 3rd and 4th foul and neither was called. He has to be smarter.
If Cliff is not going to show up to play consistently he shouldn’t be on the team. I am generally hesitant to blame things on effort but how do you manage to not get a single rebound?

We’ve been spoiled last few years. Unfortunately, looks like a down year but I’ll still be there to support.
It will be borderline, but I think they can sneak into the NIT. This is not an NCAA quality team at all. They lack consistency and toughness for that.
