Any chance in the presser you can ask Goodale his take on the sport heading in this ridiculous direction of forfeits and ducking? I know he’ll have to bite his tongue a bit but he can also be pretty open and honest
Not sure if we are getting one today (sometimes at events outside the RAC we do not always get one), but if so, I will do my best to get his take.

Iffy performance by Alvarez.

Everyone should tweet at Coleman Scott and Ramos for this pathetic 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆.

Please ask and everyone should be calling out these opposing coaches for this nonsense. College wrestling is dead if these idiots continue the 🦆🦆🦆🦆

Period ends 5-0, Van Brill.

Van Brill takes defense to start the second period, and reverses Phillips quickly. 7-0, MVB

You get better by wrestling top guys. I do not see any benefit in ducking opponents. Is seeding really that big of a deal?

Phillips is cut loose, but Van Brill takes Phillips down quickly there after to go up 9-1 with :50 left in the second period

Ehh Heilmann didn’t really make Sammy work and he couldn’t get anything going on top so he took his almost 4 mins of ride time and got out of there.

Van Brill rides out the second period, and gets his RT up to 2:11. MVB leads 9-1 going into the third.

Phillips chooses neutral

Van Brill with one last take to ice the match. He wins 12-1 with the RT point.

Rutgers leads 16-0

Rob Kanniard wrestling at 157-lbs to wrestle the 2021 149-lb national champion, Austin O'Connor.

Thanks for sending out a starter, Coleman

I am never making this drive again. We’re now getting forfeits and backups
Exactly. It's a joke and these idiot coaches are killing wrestling. I'm so glad I didn't go after the football game.

Kanniard takes O'Connor down to strike first. 2-0 Kanniard 1:25 left in the first

Hell of a start for Kanniard! Gets the takedown of O’Connor.

O'Connor remains on top for the rest of the first period. 3-2, O'Connor leads.

Kanniard chooses defense

O'Connor puts Kanniard to his back, and had him nearly decked. Great fight by Kanniard to get off his back. O'Connor leads 7-2, after getting four backs

Damn Kannaird was so close to being up 4-1 and now it’s 7-2 with riding time in favor of OConnor.

Kanniard can't manage to break free from O'Connor. He will trail O'Connor 7-2 going into the third, where O'Connor has over 2:00 of RT.

O'Connor chooses neutral

Kanniard manages to get a takedown at the end of the match, but it won't matter. 12-6 win for O'Connor.

Rutgers leads 16-3 going into 165
