HuH? I thought Grello would get better but he's not. He's a two time state champion so I thought he could get better but after a lackluster Vegas and Midlands I'm not seeing any progress. What you have to be a 4 time state champ to go to NCAA's?
Far too often I find myself saying this about our teams:
We seem to lack a fire, a “will to win” and feeling that we can win, throughout the match, the game - whatever - that most other teams and programs have across the board.This freaking athletic department needs a shrink in the worst way in my humble opinion. Lack of a killer instinct, inferiority complex, whatever, it’s gotta change.

Gravina has only had one match before this - He will be fine once he has a couple of matches in with his wind building up.
i know all wrestlers cant be top flight aa's....but when do you have to start lighting a fire under these guys...i love goodie, but dam wheres the fire ..just like our hoops team......enough excuses....being out wrestled badly

I've been posting for 2 years that Grello wasn't and wouldn't because he has no O on his feet and he's slow. The fact you're surprised is mindboggling.
Enough nonsense. You don't love Goodie, and have no clue when you say he (and his staff) isn't lighting a fire under these guys. Lesser skilled and lesser talented kids aren't suddenly winning against better wrestlers.
