NCAA Tournament for women confirmed in San Antonio region

NCAA sent out email notice that the women's tournament will be conducted in full, with 64 teams and multiple rounds in the San Antonio region. Using courts there and Austin and San Marcos. March 21 through April 4.
In other words, if RU plays/wins enough and is invited to the NCAA tourney, they go to Texas. (With RU luck, if they go, they play Texas at Texas....). Just playing enough, of course, will be the question for RU.

The Final Four will be played at the Alamodome as planned long ago.

The NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee announced that San Antonio and the surrounding region will play host to the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.

If they don't play enough makeup games, they are not going to worry about going to Texas. Sigh.

I think because of the canceled games that are now part of this season, Conference Tournament play will be a major factor when the invites are handed out.
Teams that played very few regular season games will be graded on a curve when it comes to how the NCAA Tourney Officials decides what programs are worthy.
