Oral History 2003-04 Part III

Beat me to it Dave...thank you for posting this 3rd part. It's been a distinct honor looking back at this group so fondly. Pick another bunch, and let's do it again!

Good stuff. I remember vividly after the ISU game everyone waiting for the train back to New Brunswick, an NJ Transit worker actually let someone get on the microphone in Penn to start an R-U chant - it was pretty amazing stuff.

Douby makes quick reference to it in the article, but I also will not forget in the Villanova game when he lobbed an alley oop to Adrian Hill from a step or two inside half court. Probably the second loudest I've heard the RAC vs. Nova (#1 being the Inglis bank shot a few years later).

These were great to read and reminisce. Thanks Dave. It was fun to harken back to the days when being a Rutgers basketball fan mattered. I was at every home game and every NIT game that year, as well as several road games. I remember destroying my radio on Collins' tip-in in Blacksburg. Oh to be young again. LOL Hopefully, those days are about to come again. We shall see!

Just remember going to Michigan game with all the people on the train.

Someone needs to get some games from that season up on YouTube, and not just the Michigan game.
