Drove down a day early for the Air Show to AC. Saw the Thunderbirds practice from the new Biergarden on the boardwalk. Nice place. Looks they have a nice show set up for tomorrow...well as good as the Air Force can perform. I mean they aren't the Blue Angels but they will do. Packed day of flyers. Very entertaining.
Who else is going?

Some notice would have been nice.

Exciting as hell, although I'm always working and only get to hear it. Today was practice day. They do the same show, pretty much, as what they will do tomorrow...

I'll be there. At the ACY tent. They are a client of ours, so me and some coworkers are going all day to be there with and mingle with the client. Looking forward to it! Love air shows.

if i still lived in ocean twp, monmouth county.. i'd have hit the parkway and gone.. take some pics and vids for us!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a few practicing yesterday, its amazing to think they will get 500,000 people to this event.

I happened to be driving through AC yesterday afternoon and I was amazed at the number of addicts wandering the street. On one block I saw at least 15-20 of them, it looked like a scene from the walking dead

We go to the AC Airshow every year. Get a room the night before to also watch the practice, which is like seeing 2 shows and beating all that traffic. It's a family tradition, as we setup right in front of Ceasars where the main activity is. Always luck out on the weather but last year, the only day AC beach had them were sea lice!!!. My sons and I are in the water, thank God none of the girls or baby went in yet. The sea lice, get stuck in the netting of your suits, sting like a mofo. Ambulances pulled up on the beach and were treating little kids,we went into the casino bathroom, took off our suits, handed them to each other to wash out, then just sat on the beach the rest of the day to watch the great show.

We are generally in the same area. Between Missouri and Mississippi Aves. Back away from the water and the crowds. Access to Ceasars clean bathrooms a big plus. Coolers of beers and water and subs from White House Subs. And a big tent which is a must.
Picked up my 2019 177th Fighter Wing - Jersey Devils t shirt to wear today. No RU gear today.
