OT: DC Eagle cam live

I've seen 3 bald eagles (or maybe it's the same one) in the last couple months on the stretch of Rt 29 along the Delaware River between Lambertville & Washington Crossing. It's always pretty cool.

1. There's a shitload of Bald Eagles right here in NJ.
2. There's at least one live Bald Eagle cam, that's been up for several years: http://www.conservewildlifenj.org/education/eaglecam/

I have seen that one, I think the camera is a little too close. I see more and more every year down here in Cape May County and to me its always a thrill every single time. My sister lived in Wisconsin right on the Mississippi River and had a big old tree in her backyard. Sometimes there would be 8-10 of them sitting up in there at a time.

There are, apparently, 161 territorial pairs of Bald Eagles (150 nesting pairs) in NJ as of the 2015 NJ Raptor Report. Those nests fledged a total of 200 chicks.

It's funny that in an environment like this one they're hugely territorial, but up in coastal Alaska they basically flock like seagulls.
