Just to follow-up - I did play 18 Sunday. Mercer East 12:10 Tee time shot a 43. Really didn't seem all that hot to me until 2:30 ish. Was done by 3:18.

June was the 14th consecutive month of record high monthly overall global temperatures in the 126 years of record-keeping and July is on track to make it 15. Now, some of this is clearly due to the anomalously strong El Nino, which is winding down, and will likely result in a break in the record heat, but El Nino only counts for part of the deviations. No question global warming is real and on a far shorter timescale than the "natural" cycles we've seen over geological time - which is why most climatologists believe human activity is the source of the warming.
