OT: Mike Tyson returning to the ring

I hope so but I doubt it. Never saw Paul fight but I'd really be surprised if Tyson won. This fight is not legit. There is no future for making money with Tyson while if Paul wins he'll continue to generate cash.
How cynical of you... not saying you're wrong.... 😜

Then again, Tyson's control of himself in the ring is.. well, suspect.

Several conditions were placed on the fight between Paul and Tyson, with them making it slightly different to most professional fights you might have watched.

First up, instead of the standard 10-ounce gloves worn in a heavyweight fight, they will wear 14-ounce gloves. The heavier the glove, the more padding and the more shock absorbed by the glove, rather than the fist and point of contact on the opposition fighter.

Following this up, there will be eight rounds instead of the usual 12.

And for those eight rounds, they will be two minutes long instead of the standard three minutes you see in a professional bout.
Told you it was rigged for Jake Paul to win.

But I thought he was a legit boxer?

I have zero interest in this and I like Tyson
The weigh-in fights are so kabuke

That fake slap was embarrassing last night. So scripted it leads me to believe this fight will likely be rigged.
I don't know if it's rigged or not but I would think that most altercations at boxing weigh-ins are scripted to some extent.

I have to admit, after the slap and then the corny theatrics by Paul, I got the exact same feeling.
If you watch it a couple of times it becomes even more obvious as it had almost no force behind it - just motion.

A no-win situation for Paul if his goal is to be accepted as a legit boxer. You win so what you beat a 59 year old who was washed up over 20 years ago. You lose and no one will take you seriously as a fighter again. This is if it's a real fight and not like a WWE script.

Paul and Tyson don’t care about boxing this is a huge payday. If Paul cared he would not be fighting a 59 year old washed up media figure.

The greatest heavyweight champ of all time will fight again. Should be interesting

Disagree as to the greatest

Boxers like Holyfield , with height reach and weight advantage had no problem with him
Even Buster Douglas
A big strong fighter was a problem

I hope the guy is wearing some protection for his ears in case Tyson decides to try to munch on one of them.

The fight is only about one thing... Pay Day
Worldwide presentation for Netflix so who is the real winner?
