Not a surprise, that’s why I haven’t watched it lol. Nc State without Leary is horrible on offense and VT isn’t much better.
Board jinx is in working order, looks like the offenses have come alive a little. Sounds like Dan Mullen doing color. I think it’s his first game. 21-16 VT..2pt try coming up VT called TO.

2pts no good

Was just about to hit you with the jinx walk of shame. I'm going to stay away for the Utah WSU game

Where did @rutgersguy1 go? Is he stuck on the coaching carousel?

Great finish by NC State to win 22-21. And WSU hung tough with Utah, but Utah won.

Dave Doeren at NC State--not eye-popping W-L record, but I could live with his record, recognizing that NC State is not a major football power. If Greg could deliver numbers like this, I'd be fine:

2013NC State3–90–87th (Atlantic)
2014NC State8–53–55th (Atlantic) W St. Petersburg
2015NC State7–63–54th (Atlantic) L Belk
2016NC State7–63–5T–4th (Atlantic) W Independence
2017NC State9–46–22nd (Atlantic) W Sun2323
2018NC State9–45–33rd (Atlantic) L Gator
2019NC State4–81–77th (Atlantic)
2020NC State8–47–3T–4thL Gator
2021NC State9–36–2T–2nd (Atlantic)(See note) Holiday1920
2022NC State6–22–2(Atlantic)
NC State:70–5136–42

Yea they came alive in the 2nd half.

Saw the early part of the WSU/Utah game. Utah's back up played, Rising was out. Solid win on the road. WSU making a few too many mistakes early. Muffed punt with a WSU player running into the returner on a fair catch and then a targeting call (a little questionable) on 4th and goal, cost them some points.

A run like that would have everyone talking about how shitty he was for 2019 and ignore everything else. lol

But seriously- if Rutgers ever had a run like they did 14-18 and again 2020- now, our stadium would be rocking!

Looking at Fitz at NW, down years are part of the norm for middling teams. But Fitz seems like he is in a downward spiral right now and may not survive after this year.

Bigger message to me is solid results and they didn't have to break open the vault for it. He was getting 3.5M and it was bumped to 5M this past offseason. He also flirted with other jobs but he comes back. If he had left so be it, find another suitable candidate.

Some potentially fun games today. PSU/OSU, Cuse/ND, TCU/WVU, UF/UGA, Ok St/KSU, Cincy/UCF, UK/Tenn, Ole Miss/A&M, Baylor/TT

I could see these guys possibly transferring after the season, especially Van Dyke. He looked great in Lashlee's offense last year but this year with Cristobal/Gattis not so much.

UConn up 10 to 0. I know nothing about their team, but they’re playing some small freshman quarterback who looks very good early on. Very athletic. Makes you wonder

UConn is 3-5
Starts a true Freshman QB, Zion Turner.
3⭐ from St Thomas Aquinas, Fla
94-154 61.4% 790 yds, 7TDs, 4Ints
2 RBs that have rushed for 350+ yds, avg over 6 a carry.

Wins over CCSU 28-3, Fresno St. 19-14, @ FIU 33-12
UMass(1-6), Liberty(7-1) and @Army(3-4) to get bowl eligible.

WVU 2 TDs on 2 drives. Up 14-7 on TCU…looks like TCU’s top WR Johnston has an injury to his ankle. He’s back in but seems kind of iffy. Morgantown often a tough place to play.

OU with a fake FG toss to the kicker for a TD. 10-3 on ISU

PSU takes the lead 14-10..2 TOs early but they’ve fought back. Defense has been solid so far.

TCU up 21-14

Al Davis would like this offense lol.

Ohio st is overrated like they always are just benefit from having much better athletes then everyone else in this sloow conference. They will come back and win this...

They can blitz you on offense though. One second the game is close and the next they’ve scored a bunch of TDs on you. They did that to Iowa but Iowas’s offense was horrible. Iowa held them to FGs in the first half too despite great field position. Eventually OSU broke through.

PSU’s offense is better so they can help their defense out some by not being so inept lol.

ND long pass eventually leads to a TD just before half 21-7 ND

TCU in a shootout in Morgantown 21-21

OSU driving before trying to squeeze out some points just before half…down 14-13

Oh man..OSU drives it to the 10 or so with 6secs left and instead of going for a FG OSU goes for a TD and PSU sacks them to end the half. OSU had not timeouts left.

Unlike OSU, TCU is able to score on a 3Oyd run with 24secs left before half. TCU had a timeout. 28-21 TCU 624yds of offense in the first half between the two teams.

On the flip side of the TCU/WVU game is Miami/UVA lol.

Refs screwed TCU. They call fair catch, WVU hits returner and no flag. The ball bounces around and later a WVU player pushes a TCU player to contact the ball and WVU recovers deep in TCU territory.

TCU hold them to a FG 28-24 TCU

Cuse closing to 24-17

TCU with a 4th down stop inside the redzone and flipped the field with a big pass play.

PSU converts on 4th and goal from the foot line. Was stopped but RB forced it in. 21-16 PSU

OSU gets a long TD run after going with a little tempo. OSU going for 2. Penalty makes them for for 1…23-21 OSU

TCU a couple FGs goes up two scores 34-24

ND has ballooned their lead 38-17

Cliifford fumbles after an OSU DL pushed the OL into him and the same DL recovers. OSU capitalizes with a TD on the next play. 3TOs for PSU today. OSU up 30-21
