US News "Americas Best Graduate Schools" 2025 has Pitt highly ranked in many areas.

As an example ALL of Pitt's Health Professions (Medicine, Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, PT, OT etc) have been ranked in the Top 20 by the US News publication. In fact if one compares Pitt Medical School Student Admissions GPA and MCAT Scores, they are similar to the University of Pennsylvania Medical School Admits.

Unlike most B1G schools Pitt is a smaller school with about 23,000 undergrads and 10,000 grad students.

I think Pitt will be able to maintain its student body numbers when the Baby Bust Generation hits.

OTTOMH, the following ones were most well known:
Berks
Hazelton
Altoona

Hershey has the hospital but not sure of campus

Buddy went to Mt. Alto and Lehigh Valley isn't far from the NJ state line
Didnt know they had that many, but cult gonna cult

There is a branch in Middletown, PA, about 5 miles from Hershey and Harrisburg, PA.

Virginia is a good school and AAU Research University but their annual research expenditures compared to other national and global universities is lacking from a Global perspective.

The National Science Foundations Ranks all Universities by Total R&D expenditures.

Again you may not like or agree with the facts but here are the numbers.

NSF Ranking by Total R&D expenditures:

Pitt ranked #17 with $1.398 Billion R&D
Virginia ranked #48 with $0.714 Billion R&D
FSU ranked #79 with $0.414 Billion R&D
Clemson ranked #109 with $0.286 Billion R&D

I guess other US and Global Universities spend more on Research and are therefore ranked higher in the US Global Ranking.
