Denver is simply not that good. They are trading off reputation and a weak schedule. They lost to 2 of the three decent OOC teams they faced (Duke & ND) and OSU is their best win. Outside of OSU they have beaten no one.

And they caught OSU when they looked absolutely dreadful, needing a hail mary to beat Jacksonville.
