Football GAMEDAY THREAD -- Rutgers Football vs. No. 1 Ohio State

If we ever had a killer instict on offense we would be top 20

That said today is exceeding any expectations
We won't win with Wimsatt throwing.
But he can keep them honest by throwing down field. Just need him to connect on a couple.

Keep running churning yards and clock

Running game is moving the ball which is good to see

I’m okay with FG. You take the points vs risking giving Ohio State momentum on a 4th down goal line stop

Also shows you believe in/need your defense

You do realize our 4 star qB is having trouble throwing the ball. And at the same time our OL is having success against OSU.

And we're still losing after 2 red zone trips.

This is why people complain after Indiana about our offensive philosophy.
Offense doesn't just show up when you want it.
Perhaps if more time was spent developing the offense we wouldn't have a QB with 1 completion for 0 yards and 6 pts in a game we should be winning.

See there you another sudden change. Make them work for it down the field like I said.

For the first time this year, I don’t see an argument for a coaching decision - don’t think we should’ve gone for the 3 there. Our D has done okay, but OSU had a drop or two on what would’ve been big plays for them. Those drops won‘t continue.

We need points to saty in the game.
This is why I don’t coach FB.

That is why you go for a TD. Because the defense is playing great and gives you the space to take risks on offense.

Lol easy on my guy Dremel...best feet we have a wide receiver...we don't have another guy that could've run that route, that precise.. everyone else runs the slippiest routes..

He's good but RZ passes are short field and contested.
At RU only Sanu was good at RZ TD receptions
Britt only had 2

Gavin seems to throw much better when he can just sit in the pocket and fire it rather than having to put some air on the ball

Wimsatt is,better throwing to guys in the middle of the field than wide open guys outside...
