Clemson is very regionalized in regard to fandom, but this shows just how local they are

I was thinking more in terms of quality educational institutions. FSU is light years behind Cal on that. I realize this is a football board, but FSU seems like a better fit for the SEC.
Most schools are
Cal is a public ivy
Tremendous school
Their football is trash
Basketball is bad (Kidd was awesome though)
No idea about baseball / softball / Olympic sports
Never mind all the other non athletic / non educational headaches they bring
Rutgers is light years behind cal as well, as are 99% of universities! FSU is ranked higher at 53 than several BIG schools. All u do is show how ignorant you are.

Oregon was just taken before Cal and Stanford. Duke is not on any serious expansion boards. While strong academics are a hallmark of the B1G, it’s not a deal breaker. FSU is good enough academically to welcome their national football program.

I saw that a little while back with regards to individual school ratings but didn't post it the CFB ratings thread because it gives some skewed statistics. BTN is Nielsen rated while the SECN, PACN, ACCN aren't so they don't get dragged down by their conference network games.interesting data all the way through and RU did well!!!!!

Agree. Academics is a non issue for FSU. They would fit right in the middle today, and have been trending strongly upwards in recent years. Arguments otherwise sound ignorant
