You're making nuanced points which is a perfectly fine thing to do and is not racist in any way. I've never said otherwise. Like you, I can talk about sensitive topics because I'm careful to be nuanced about what I write (that is, if I'm posting seriously).

Having said that, Voltz wasn't being nuanced. He wrote a simple sentence that stated his opposition to diversity which is a racist statement, by definition. He's not even denying it.

In order to have any kind of reasonable conversation about social issues, reasonable people with differing views take care to speak moderately and with nuance. And in order for any conversation to remain reasonable, people on all sides of any issue must confront and reject extremists (racism is extremism).

Otherwise, by definition, the conversation is made pointless, an exchange of extremist babble. Wholly unproductive. Like this thread has become.
I am against the destruction of schools and neighborhoods.

PS. ARe affluent Dems like Biden who moved to segregated neighborhoods, racist?

Wow. I'm in awe of your genius. You just increased the number of homeless by orders of magnitude. Great work!

You should probably run for office. Your campaign slogan can be "Voltz, helping everyone by making them all homeless and immobile".

False. WE had less homeless before all the welfare programs. Stop feeding them and they will either get jobs, conform or starve. Either way the problem is solved.

Dont feed the geese or the homeless.

Your plan is so successful that we now have hundreds of thousands of homeless in the USA. THe number of homeless in LA went UP with more funding, rented hotels, shelters, and all the free programs. Liberal progress.

Dems look at welfare success when everyone is on welfare. Rs consider success when nobody is on welfare.

Join the crowd. Just about everybody everywhere in the US is against destroying schools and neighborhoods.

Please explain how massively increasing the number of homeless, while simultaneously eliminating their ability to get to jobs outside of walking distance, is going to solve the "destruction of schools and neighborhoods". Take your time.

As for your question, it's not meaningful, because:
  1. Nobody can speak knowledgeably as to the thinking of a bunch of hypothetical strangers they've never met. It'd be pure useless conjecture.
  2. Where are these hypothetical segregated neighborhoods, which groups are excluded from them, and what proof do you offer that those you say are excluded don't actually live there?
  3. You constrained your question to a single political affiliation. But you haven't established as fact that there is any correlation between political affiliation and moving to hypothetical segregated neighborhoods.
So far, you've demonstrated a fondness for biased conjecture-based broad demonization. You like blaming problems on lots of people you've never met based on your assumptions about them. Great.

Is that all you have?

There are homeless people of all races. So how is diversity to blame? You said diversity is the problem.

And why are you making shit up that I never said? I haven't said a single word about my plan. Can you not discuss something without putting fictitious words in someone's mouth? Is doing that the only way you can feel like you're not losing an argument badly?

In that last sentence, you are trying to tell us how Dems and Reps think. There are about 334,233,854 people in the US today. Approximately what, 80% of those people are affiliated with a political party, roughly 40% Dems and 40% Reps. Right?

You are telling us you know how 267,387,083 individuals think. Gosh, you must be super smart to know that. What's worse, you want us to believe that the two groups of individuals on each side all think exactly alike. So, in your mind, all Ds want everyone on welfare. And all Rs want to cut all welfare programs entirely and let people starve. We're going to have to start calling you King Conjecture. You already know exactly how everybody thinks, you don't even need to meet them.

Let's take stock of your policy impacts so far. Cut all housing assistance, public transportation, and food assistance. So now we have massive numbers of homeless people, who will starve to death on the street due to it being impossible to get to job interviews where they wouldn't get hired anyway because they stink from not having access to a shower. You know, because they're homeless. Also, there will be massive disease and crime given the massive increase in homelessness.

Huh. Just wondering, what're you gonna do with the millions of dead homeless on the street? How you gonna fund the cleanup? Not to mention funding the massive increase in police needed to prevent all the crimes by the homeless people. And the massive increase in prisons needed to house all the arrested homeless people.

Again, take your time with your answer. Whatever you do, don't raise taxes.

lol at liberals from segregated neighborhoods crying racism.
Fail again. Our neighborhood is very diverse, which we love. Diversity of people, perspectives, thought processes, etc. is a strength in organizations and communities. It's no surprise that the companies that score best in profitability and other bottom line measures happen to be the ones with the best culture scores, which are heavily based on diversity and inclusion practices (see the link for an insight into the Towers-Watson culture surveys/results).

78% White is so diverse 👌

I can see why you're unemployable, as you simply just make things up and get caught at it regularly. 63-67% white in Metuchen depending on the source and we got an A- for diversity from this ranking...

You have me confused with the FDU guy

He’s been outta work for months but I have a great job thanks for your concern though bruh.

Nice try with the unconfirmed stats.

**only 5% Black, that’s what you call diversity? 🤔

What happened to the windmill talk?
Here ya go, sort of:

See? It’s not climate change causing droughts they’re causing all the wildfires everywhere.

It’s clean energy that’s to blame. Just ask Evan.

If we trucked coal to people’s houses, instead of shipping clean energy over power lines, this never would’ve happened.

Looks like the signs our mayor put up are waking people up.. seems like pushback is growing outside of the coast as more people become aware.

Sounds like Dem legislative leadership in Trenton are starting to buckle. Let's see what happens. Look for project "delays" with lack of details. Fears of election consequences are growing.

Heres' a compromise. Put the windmills/wind farm on the American Dream disaster in the Meadowlands. That indoor ski slope structure is perfect for about 15 windmills.

Also, Cape Cod is a good place to test these out. That was the plan a long time ago until the Kennedy's said no.

They've had them off the coast of Europe for many years with no obvious environmental impacts, especially on mammals. That combined with the research in the US showing likely very minor impacts on whales from windmill construction/operation should be enough to put those concerns to rest. If folks want to complain/protest the economics/view have at it.

If we can save just one whale life, it would be worth it! :)

Seriously, it may be NJ or something else, but this project would be a disaster of epic proportions. The technical problems and issues are vast and mostly unknown to the public.

While I rarely agree with T2K and hate to take his side, the point is there is an awful lot of do as I say not as I do and NIMBY crap from the elites. At least that's what I think he was getting at, and I don't necessarily disagree.

So you're saying that the socialist Eurotrash can perform feats of technical engineering that we in the U.S. are incapable of?

Them's commie words. Beta cuck shit.

Terrestrial wind farms in NJ would be a bust. Not enough wind.
Was sarcasm, but gotta put that disaster in East Rutherford to some beneficial use.

How about all the hot air blowing out of both sides of the aisle in Trenton on this issue? Can we put an enormous, horizontally arranged windmill on the gold dome. That could power all of NJ with all the hot air escaping the dome.

So, are you gearing up for protests of commercial shipping and fishing, which are responsible for the vast majority of whale deaths? Yeah, didn't think so.

And there are over 10,000 installed offshore wind turbines now, with close to 30,000 expected by 2030 and with some countries, like the UK, predicted to have all of their home electricity needs supplied by wind power by 2030. So much for vast technical problems.

I'm talking about this specific project and the tech problems associated with it. Please read more carefully next time.

I addressed your imagined "tech problems" and am truly curious why you and so many others have been silent for decades over whale deaths from shipping/fishing.

The real tech problems are discussed daily by state officials, BPU, and contractor. Still haven't figured it out yet, which is why delays continue to mount.

Shipping and fishing are needed, costly inefficient offshore wind is not. Pretty simple.

And what are these... "real tech problems"? Are they... in the room with you now?

Seriously - name them.
All about connecting to the main grind. They are still trying to figure it out. Calls on this topic almost every day for the past few months.

That has more to do with the politics than the technology.

They want desperately to bring everything onshore and tie it to the grid at Oyster Creek. There's a mountain of resistance.

Edit: As I've mentioned previously, my kid niece (RU grad) is a marine biologist & oceanographer for NJDEP. I get lots of background on this stuff.

So wait. Now woke is good?

Pretty sure that, last week, woke was bad. We wanted, uh, sleep people, I guess. Definitely not more woke people.

Ugh. So hard to keep up with what we're supposed to want.

So are the people who protest building townhouses in Wall, or the hotel by the Atlantic Ave circle, the "elites"?

I'm perfectly okay with wind-turbines way out offshore. And perfectly fine with wind-turbines installed that far away from my home, on dry-land. I'm okay with townhouses in Wall and hotel(s) by the Atlantic Ave circle, whatever that is.

Don't understand why people allow themselves to get so wound up about all this stuff. Abortion, gun-control - sure, get wound up if you want because that stuff has life and death implications and is about where we want to be vis-a-vis our individual freedoms.

But wind-turbines? Seriously?

Nothing to see here as you continue to look away from any possibility it could be something other than ships, or maybe it is ships after the sounds from construction are ruining their ability to navigate. Go ahead and bring out your pompous act like so many other "experts" in this thread.Of course you will dismiss this as not real. Go ahead, have at it. This otta be good. https://www.skynews.com.au/opinion/...entary/video/27d42d689b8bf0f18cdd82f4fd446301
