I was just pointing out it was not a novel idea.Last I checked,we were talking about MLB, I get the college game.I just think there are way too many rule changes for my liking of the game.

He has a career .912 OPS with runners in scoring position, .989 last seasonConforto gets so much crap from myself and others because he looks like Ted Williams and Tony Gwynn had a baby for 2 weeks and then leaves 25 men on base while striking out 7 of 8 at bats in big spots
Dammit man, stop ruining good stories! He has a career .912 OPS with runners in scoring position, .989 last season
Typical Mets though...just as old man Cano starts to carry team and maybe earn some of his money, we send him home on a hit and not only out, but injured most likely for the year.
There is no way we win if McNeil, Rosario don’t get back in the lineup every day and Alonso keeps struggling.
BTW- Davis is showing to be the best hitter with McNeil on the team...
Why do you say Cano is most likely out for the year?Wednesday on the broadcast they said he hopes to be back as soon as his 10 days are up.Typical Mets though...just as old man Cano starts to carry team and maybe earn some of his money, we send him home on a hit and not only out, but injured most likely for the year.

0/4 and 2 errors. Mark it down.Jeff back, yes.
Was really hoping Cano would stay healthy and productive through August. Hoping they could deal him at the deadline to a contender for a young arm. Would have to pick up some money but we got half his $$$ from Seattle so it may have been possible. Now we are stuck with him.Typical Mets though...just as old man Cano starts to carry team and maybe earn some of his money, we send him home on a hit and not only out, but injured most likely for the year.

Proving that Peterson should stay in the rotation if/when Stroman returnsAnd down 4-0 quick. We're facing a pitcher who never pitched above A ball so we'll see if can squeak out a run.
Wacha stinks.
This whole season it's painful unless you're a Yankee fan.Two innings in an hour. This could be painful.
Let's go Marlins
Go root for them. Don't need any sad sack fans looking lovingly at that team. This whole season it's painful unless you're a Yankee fan.
Yes.
marlins beat jeter in World Series
NOPE... I'm not a Yankee fan. Just pissed off everything is going right for them and I'm waiting for the next Mets player to break their skull while slipping on a banana peel. Besides I got a Yankee fan stalking me everywhere I go now lol.Go root for them. Don't need any sad sack fans looking lovingly at that team.
McNeil 0 for 2 with 2 Ks. Y0/4 and 2 errors. Mark it down.
Yeah, out of character for me, but so tired of other players getting crapped on while, fans fawn over this guy.
Prove me wrong, Jeff.
Ignore them like the few jagoffs in this thread. Don't even give them a thought.NOPE... I'm not a Yankee fan. Well, he said he blocked me now because I dont agree with him on other subjects. Guess he could finish what he started. Anyway good riddance lol.Ignore them like the few jagoffs in this thread. Don't even give them a thought.
I'm done wasting my time with a senile baiter, I'd call up Al Sharpton if I was interested in that.
Enjoy another Mets loss and YOU'VE BEEN BLOCKED
I don't get the love for McNeil and the hatred for Conforto. And while typing, Conforto doubles, and Nimmo should have scored.Jeez...
He was also the same person who started talking crap about that Santa Fe HS basketball player who got shot and killed last weekend and had that thread locked because of it. But I'm the arse lol.Ignore them like the few jagoffs in this thread. Don't even give them a thought.
Anyway back to the Mets... Conforto is our Kris Kreider. Player who always have great potential but seems to not do well in the clutch. Maybe hes snapping out of it and I he does real soon.I don't get the love for McNeil and the hatred for Conforto. And while typing, Conforto doubles, and Nimmo should have scored.
Someone compared him to Dave Kingman, which is way off the mark IMO.Anyway back to the Mets... Conforto is our Kris Kreider. Player who always have great potential but seems to not do well in the clutch. Maybe hes snapping out of it and I he does real soon.
If Conforto hits the other way, hes an All Star. He screws up when he tries to hit the ball into the Coke Corner every swing.Someone compared him to Dave Kingman, which is way off the mark IMO.
I did. Career .250 something batting average, homerun production up as well as strike outs. The hype around Conforto is too much. McNeil is a better hitter.Someone compared him to Dave Kingman, which is way off the mark IMO.
Cant blame you for that comparison. But Conforto is an all star if he hits the other way. Too bad theres times he wants to pull the ball 500 feetI did.
