Um you better make your run for provisions
Don't eat bread or eggs or drink milk, so we are good on that stuff. Water will still come out the tap, and we have plenty of frozen meats and vegetables in the freezer and fridge. Or I'll just fast for a few day until the melt starts.

What about snacks
Most days, eat one meal, and no snacks. I'm rarely hungry, eating healthy food that his high in protein, and very low carb. Carbs and processed food that were purportedly "low fat" were terrible for me. Insulin resistance and diabetes run in the family. That works for me. I feel better and I am in better shape than when I was in my 20s. For others, it is not a problem. Wait for the #'s troll to chime in with his nonsense on this. We each have to find what works for us.

Which is worse, driving on the bridge or the dam? I get vertigo just looking at the picture.
Never been over the bridge but have the dam. You're close to water level one side so no it that intimidating. I've walked it too and even leaned over to look down the dam side.
Being way up high with nothing under you is a different feeling.

Terrible News: Wendy had to go the E.R. today.

I posted several days ago that Wendy's sciatica gets bad when a big storm is looming / nearing.

When the storm trends eastward, the sciatic rips down her right leg.

When the storm trends westward, the sciatica rips down her left leg.

Well because the storm is strengthening and there have been many east / west turns, her sciatica has been incredibly painful in both legs. Now that the storm is coming northwards, the sciatica also rips down her back.

Hence she's a mess and had to be driven to RWJ Hospital for observation.

Doctors wanted to keep her overnight - possibly in traction - but Wendy refused saying she ain't missing no 12 inch storm !

The BFF's they are - Claire and Justine - loaded up on Cold Cuts; Italian Heros ; Beer and maybe some illegal pain management pills and Wendy will be just fine lying in bed in all probability throughout the storm.

She'll be fine next week with temps in the 50's as she'll probably be able to jog and shed some pounds she gained from the delicious foods from the Deli !

A few weather tidbits:

- Why is The Weather Channel showing their typical stupid documentaries when a huge snowstorm is 24 hours away in he Northeast.

- Disappointed in Lonnie Quinn. Wearing h1s suit jacket and sleeves not rolled up. Maybe that happens tomorrow?

- Last year - same weekend - we had a huge snowstorm.

Stock up at Joe Leone’s for the storm
Nothing there for me. Thanks for the suggestion. Have you seen their family history of heart attacks?

At 42 years old: "Joe’s left anterior descending (LAD) artery was 90 percent blocked. This blockage is often called a “widow maker” because it prevents blood from passing through the LAD"

yeah if you got less than 6 thats a bust because that means everyone else to your west is getting small amounts. The Ukie shown there is the model showing the least at this moment. Euro still to go

Batten down the hatches

My question sucked. What's the probably of such a bust at the shore, meaning less than 6"? Not good? Less than 30% at this point?
